My Story

Hello! My name is Kelsey Anne, and I am the third oldest of 11 children. I am a very passionate individual, who is inquisitive by nature and enjoys adventure, athletics, health/personal fitness coaching, writing, painting, and anything that results in a natural adrenaline rush:) Pursuing the abundant life God planned for me with passion and vitality is my desire.

My musical journey began just over 14 years ago. . . I started piano lessons at the age of 6 and was classically trained over the next 4 years. However, I soon discovered classical music and playing by note was not my forte. My creative mind felt stifled, so my parents generously paid for me to receive musical instruction from a gentleman who was the main pianist at Disneyland for 26 yrs. He opened my eyes to a whole new world of possibilities when it came to the different styles of music, improvising and playing by ear. This is when music truly became fun for me and I discovered the passion that drives me today!

As time moved on, I realized that the Lord had given me an incredible gift to create my own arrangements of songs. Although I am grateful for the classical training I received in the early years, I now play completely by ear and have been teaching others how to do what I do for the past six years with much joy.

It wasn’t long after I began playing the piano that I decided that I wanted to follow in my Mothers footsteps and play the harp at weddings. So, as a 9 year old girl, I began practicing the harp 3 hours every day. After lots of diligent training and effort over the next 90 days, I saw the fruit of my labor and accomplished my goal by playing for my first wedding at only 9 years of age!

After my first wedding, I was hooked. The magical sounds of the harp paired with the elegant setting of a weddding celebration enamoured my senses and made my girlish heart feel like I was living in a farytale.

Unfortunately, both of the harps my family owned burned in a barn fire three years ago. Once we moved to Bend, a year and a half ago, we were able to replace them and I’ve resumed practicing and providing professional entertainment at events with much joy!
